"Morya" Marathi Movie Review

“Morya” Marathi Movie by Avadhoot Gupte After the Success of “Zenda” Marathi Film. Morya, a traditional Marathi movie starring Santosh Juvekar, Spruha Joshi, Pari Telang, Chinmay Mandlekar, Dilip Prabhawalkar, Janardhan parab, Ganesh Yadav in the lead roles. Morya has been directed and produced by Avadhoot Gupte.

Morya is a story of politics in Ganapati association, a scam of money during the Ganapati Festival. It is the high budget Marathi film based on the Lord Ganapati Festival.

Apart from the lead roles, the movie also stars Vijay Nikam, Vimal Mhatre, Meghana Erande in the supporting roles. Music by Avadhoot Gupte already received a good response from the audience.

The first half of the movie is good. Basically the stroy between the two guys who lives in chawl and fight for their respective Ganesh Pandals. Both the actors (Santosh Juvekar and Chinmay Mandlekar ) shown their tremendous acting skills one more time through this movie. Last time we saw them in "Zenda".

The picturisation is good. But in Second Half, movies goes into the poilitician's hands. People can see the repeat telecast of Hindu-Muslim riots. Already we seen such type of things in bollywood movies. So the second part is lilttle bit boring. Because the people already know what is going to happen next. When the first half is ended, the Chinmay character (Sameer Sayed) is kept question in the mind that he is hindu or he is doing some fake muslim character to gain popularity for his ganesh pandal. But in the second half people understand that in actual he is muslim and he is celebrating ganesh festival.

The most senior actor in the marathi industry, Dilip Prabhawalkar, plays a small role in the film but he is a remarkable in his character.

The Avdhoot Gupte's excellent music tracks. His appearance in Qawwali. He featured one hindi qawwali in Marathi movie for the first time. And its sounds good.

The title song of the movie Ganadhisha and Govinda song are excellent.

Overall the movie is good. Picturisation and the comic timing of the characters are good.

Nice Movie!!!! :)
